Within Employer Branding, there is a lot of talk about Employee Experience and Employee Journey. These areas are compared with Customer Experience and Customer Journey. Looking at the Employee Journey, we find that it concerns areas such as Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Onboarding, Empowerment and Development. (Different models use different names, but the areas are usually the same.)

However. The employee is not the only one setting off on a journey. By consciously taking charge of your Employer Brand, you initiate a journey as an employer as well. You will have to change as you go along, in order to provide the Employee Journey that will give you the upper hand against your competition, when it comes to attracting the right talent.
