Compared to earlier in history, both customers’ and candidates’ shortlists are, well, shorter. A shortlist today may consist of up to five names, whereas they used to be around ten names long.
So what do you do to remain on their shortlists? By communicating, of course. Relevant communication that offers something; be it insights, a smile, to feel smart or an actual thing doing something you want them to do.
